A balanced meal is served to full-time students each day as part of the lunch program.

Student participating in the Pre-K and JK program part-time will not be present at the Early Primary Learning Centre for lunch time. However, healthy snacks will be provided for part-time students in the morning. A full-service kitchen lies in the heart of the Early Primary Learning Center to fulfill the lunch program.

Students at the Parrott Junior School are served a hot, healthy lunch daily. A full service kitchen is located just inside the main entrance in the Great Hall. Students in grades 1 to 6 sit with their teacher and classmates in the Great Hall for lunch. Senior Kindergarten students are served and enjoy lunch in their classroom. Food services staff prepare meals for students on site daily. Students participating in the after school care program also receive a healthy snack after school.

A scheduled menu is available at your request. Every effort is made to present our students with a variety of items including soup, fresh cut vegetables, fruit, milk, juice, treats and a main entrée. All lunches are supervised by the Form Teachers in their classrooms and the lunchroom. Please inform your child’s teacher as soon as possible if your son or daughter has an allergy or a faith-based dietary exclusion. Albert College does not provide individualized lunch plans for students based on food preferences but every effort is made to ensure the satisfaction of parents and students.
