Guidance (Career Planning)

Counseling services are provided to help all students identify their strengths and weaknesses and explore alternatives related to important decisions regarding their futures.  They also learn how to set and achieve both short and long-term goals and find out where they can obtain help for specific needs and problems.

The Guidance Department works closely with senior students, helping them plan their post-secondary education. We have available various resource materials and software packages to assist students with decisions about their future. The Director of Guidance meets with the graduates, both in groups and individually, to discuss their university and college applications. The Director of Academics works closely with the advisors and the Director of Guidance to ensure that each student is following a course of study appropriate to his or her interests and future plans.
