Albert College, although a small school, continues to embrace technology in a very big way. We have two fully equipped computer labs, a Mac lab and a medi-music Mac lab. Each lab contains 20 or more computer workstations, video projectors, printers, scanners and other peripheral devices. Common areas throughout the Senior School have wireless internet access.
There are also a number of smart classrooms in both the Math and Science departments. Smart classrooms are equipped with at least six PC workstations for students and a SMART board for teacher lectures. Both of these technical resources allow for a collaborative environment where students are able to resolve many of the academic challenges they encounter. Smart classrooms are equipped with video projectors and other peripheral devices.

The Resource Centre is well equipped to support the information technology needs of our students. There are a number of PC workstations, in addition to laptop work areas. Students can bring their laptops to the Resource Centre and either connect directly to the network, or they may connect to the network from anywhere in the Resource Centre.
Residential students also benefit from our investment in technology. Each room is wired to the school network, providing access to shared programs and applications, our e-mail and calendar system, and the Internet.
Albert College has made substantial upgrades to our existing technology infrastructure through the Turn the Key Campaign. All are part of our efforts to ensure students attending Albert College have access to the technology resources they need to attain academic excellence, and to prepare them for their post-secondary challenges.
