Baker House & Graham Hall
Albert College has two residential spaces for our male boarders. Graham Hall is home to our senior boys while Baker House is home to our junior boys, beginning at Grade 7. Both residences are located within the main building allowing the boys to enjoy the many amenities of campus living. Each residence has their own washrooms and a common room equipped with a television, DVD player and gaming consoles.
The Albert College main campus has a full service gymnasium complete with two squash courts, a fitness center and a pool, located in the same building as the residences. Just outside are three large sports fields, tennis courts and the "quad", a park-like setting where students can enjoy frisbee, bocce ball, a barbeque or just relaxing with their friends. The campus is minutes away from the Bay of Quinte and an expansive park and trail network where students can walk, bike, roller blade or skate board.
Study hall is two hours (from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.) every week night except Fridays. Students are supervised by a residential staff member and a faculty member who helps each student with their homework. The Baker House junior residence has a supervised activity period following the academic day for our Middle School boarders. Following study hall, students often enjoy soccer or basketball in our gymnasium or gaming with their fellow boarders.
Our students learn to embrace and respect both the culture and diversity of their peers. In addition to the 5 'A's of Albert College (Academics, Arts, Athletics, Adventure and Active Citizenship), our experienced residential staff teach our students important life lesson that will help them become the leaders of their generations. Although the boys come to Albert College from around the globe, the friendships and skills that are developed in residence will last a lifetime.
