Susan Lawes
Assistant House Director of Victoria Manor

Susan became a member of the Albert College family in 2010, working at the Junior School as a teaching assistant for two years and covering maternity leave at the Early Primary Learning Center the following year. While working, Susan was completing her Early Childhood Education Diploma through Loyalist College. Susan became an Assistant Residential House Director in the fall of 2011. She feels privileged to be entering her fifth year at Victoria Manor.  Susan loves the energy and exuberance of the vibrant young students and enjoys ensuring that each one is thriving and feeling secure in their home away from home. When needed, Susan is ready to give a hug and a reassuring word.  Some of her favourite memories are the Ping-Pong tournaments and games she has organized with prizes as the incentives for students to participate and relieve some stress.
