Grade 2 Field Trip to the Water Treatment Plant

The Grade 2 class, and their parent supervisors, enjoyed a trip to the Gerry O'Connor Water Treatment Plant for a tour of this world-class facility.  Plant supervisor, Perry DeCola held the students spellbound with his anecdotes and humour.  It is difficult to know who enjoyed the tour more... the students or the adults.  Certainly, we will never again take our clean water for granted!...

A Silver Medal for the U20 Boys’ Basketball Team

Albert College’s U20 Boys’ Basketball Team finished their division securing a spot in the final championship game on March 4 against the undefeated Bayview Glen Team. The Panthers travelled to Bayview Glen in Toronto and played the host team in the final game. The Albert College Panthers fell to Bayview Glen and took home the silver medal in the division.

Albert College Sax Quartet Wows Judges

Congratulations to the Albert College Saxophone Quartet for an outstanding performance at the Kingston Kiwanis Music Festival. The Quartet was awarded top marks and "A" class honours as well as the Donna Fox Memorial Award. On March 9, representatives from Our Kids Celebrity Classic stopped by to award the Albert College recipient of the $5,000 Driving Dreams for Our Youth scholarship. Congratulations, Kaitlin!
