Albert College Shares Holiday Spirit Through Song

The halls were ringing at Albert College this past weekend as the school celebrated the holiday season with their annual Christmas Candlelight Carol Service. “This is a traditional service of nine lessons and carols and has been an annual event at the school for as long as anyone can remember,” said Head of School, Keith Stansfield.

Surrounded by candlelight, parents, students, teachers, alumni, board members and the local community gathered together in the school’s Memorial Chapel. The Albert College Brass Quintet band and a total of five choirs, comprised of students from Grade 4 to 12, triumphantly sang carols led by Choral Director, Erin Paul and Director of Instrumental Music, Scott Mills. One of many highlights was the singing of Silent Night in eight different languages. Many guests said that this service has become a part of their family's annual Christmas traditions and they look forward to it every year.
