Gift Recognition

We are deeply grateful for the generosity of each board of governor, alumnus, alumna, parent, faculty, staff, student, business, organization, friend, grandparent and foundation who participated in giving to Albert College.  Their gifts play a critical role in supporting students and enhancing learning.

All contributions are acknowledged with an appreciative thank you letter.  Gifts are also recognized in the Donor Gratitude Report published in the fall edition of our Albertalks magazine. Donor names are recognized in this listing by constituent group. The specific amounts of individual donations are not listed.

Annual Giving of $1,000 or more is recognized by membership in the Leadership Circle.  

Albert College is proud to recognize lifetime giving on the Wall of Distinction in the Rotunda in the following categories:

  • Friend: $5,000 - $9,999 
  • Supporter: $10,000 - 24,999 
  • Chairman's Circle: $25,000 - $49,999 
  • Patron: $50,000 - $99,999 
  • Benefactor: $100,000 - $249,999 
  • Founder: $250,000 - $499,999 
  • Prince Albert Society: $500,000 plus

1857 Society

The 1857 Society honours individuals who indicate they are making a legacy gift to Albert College Members of our 1857 Society are recognized on a plaque in the Rotunda.

Leadership Circle, Lifetime Giving, and 1857 Society members are all recognized in the fall edition of Albertalks magazine, other promotional materials, and with invitations to special events.

There are a variety of items named throughout the campus, as well as scholarships and bursaries, and programs.
