Discover an exceptional education.

Albert College is an independent boarding and day school for students in Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12, in Belleville, Ontario.

A tradition of excellence

Founded in 1857, Albert College is older than Canada itself! While our buildings are historic, we offer an education with the most modern amenities.

Signature Five A’s program

Academics, Arts, Athletics, Adventure and Active Citizenship are the foundation of our unique program. Every student pursues the Five A’s, which develop academic excellence, creativity, physical well-being, resilience, independence and social responsibility.

Pathway to top universities worldwide

One hundred percent of our graduates pursue post-secondary studies, many earning competitive scholarships. Top destinations include the universities of Toronto, Waterloo, British Columbia, McMaster, Queen’s and more. We offer personalized guidance through every step of the university application process, helping students make the best decisions for their future.

Enriching academics

In addition to offering the highly regarded Ontario curriculum, students seeking academic challenge can also pursue Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Our robotics and technology program is in an exciting phase of growth.

The benefits of a CAIS school

CAIS (Canadian Accredited Independent Schools) is the only Canadian accreditor for independent schools and Albert College is a proud member. As a CAIS school, Albert College embraces whole-school improvement that is recognized through a comprehensive accreditation process.
