ESL Summer School at Albert College
English comes to life at Albert College!
Albert College offers an exciting English as a Second Language (ESL) summer school program for students between 12 and 18 years of age to learn English and experience Canada. The ESL Summer School program is a three-week, fully accredited Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) course. The program compresses an entire year’s worth of ESL classes into just three weeks, with over 25 hours per week of language instruction.
Our class sizes are small and taught by certified English teachers. Students learn and live together on our beautiful campus located in Belleville, Ontario. Students are fully immersed in an English environment, inside and outside the classroom, and develop their listening, reading, writing, speaking and comprehension skills.
Our program ensures student success by providing each student with support, assistance and guidance, resulting in a positive study experience and improved language development.

Normally, we leave everything to travel agents, but thanks to our child, we even had our own adventure by taking the train to Toronto. Being able to take on challenges like this without fear may be something unique to Canada. Canada is such a great country, and we are truly glad we had the opportunity to come here."

2026 Tuition Fee: $6,000 CAD
Includes:
- 25 hours each week of language instruction
- Private boarding accommodation

- $500 CAD sundry expense (includes spending money and excursions)

These events foster language improvement and opportunities for unforgettable adventures. Students look forward to excursions that are carefully curated for maximum English language exposure and practice.
Where will I live?
Albert College is located two hours east of Toronto in Belleville. With a population of 56,000, Belleville offers the amenities of a big city in a close-knit, friendly and safe community. Boarding life includes fun afternoon activities and an evening study period. Dormitories have laundry, common rooms with a TV, gaming equipment and exercise facilities.
