Albert College Students Score District Championship Chess Awards

Albert College students proudly claimed nine of the 21 medals at the District Chess Championship at Stirling Public School on April 25. Competing against 150 other students for medals, 15 Albert College students in Grades 3 to 8 represented the school. “The students were great!” says Albert College Chess Coach and Head of Science, Mr. Brian Profit. “They have been practising chess at school and on their own time since the beginning of November so it is great for them to be rewarded with success.”
