March 7 - 20, 2020
This year students are travelling to Tanzania for our March Break Active Citizenship trip. It has been four years since we were last in Tanzania and the students are excited to see the school that Albert started in 2016. The trip takes place northwest of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro in the Longido region. The students will be building sustainable solutions that address educational access and clean water issues. They will also experience the region's vibrant culture and landscape as they bead with mamas, learn Swahili and go on safari in the Ngorongoro Crater. A big part of the adventure is to take part in dynamic discussions and workshops which transform their perspective on the world as they learn about pressing local issues. Our team will be finalized by November 10.
If you are interested in taking part in this trip, please speak to Mrs. Guse right away!
