A message from Grade 12 student and Advancement Prefect, Bella

With the start to this school year being so different than most, we asked our Advancement Prefect to tell us how she is feeling starting the 2020-21 school year.

"The week before school started, I was nervous because I was starting my last year of high school and I didn’t know what this school year was going to look like during these crazy times of COVID-19. By the end of the first day all my worries disappeared. Everyone knew what had to be done, and because of how well the teachers worked to prepare for our arrival, the first day was extremely smooth sailing. After the first week of school came to an end, my nervousness that I had felt in the beginning was replaced with excitement and a drive to learn. I was so happy to see my old friends face to face after not having seen them for close to six months. As well, I really enjoyed getting to know the new students and welcoming them to our wonderful Albert family. I am really looking forward to seeing what the rest of the year here at Albert College has in store for us. Although we are staying six feet apart from one another, the Albert community has never been closer, and I truly hope that we can all find a silver lining during these unpredictable times."
