Albert College students performed over 9,000 hours of community service, which is more than double the minimum number of hours required.
Three Albert College bands competed at the Ontario Music Festival and the Albert College Jazz Band won gold.
An Albert College high jumper won silver at the CISAA Championships and competed at OFSSA.
U20 Girls' Basketball Team and U20 Girls' Field Hockey Team had an undefeated season and won gold in their respective divisions in CISAA.
19 Albert College students were selected to perform in the Conference of Independent Schools’ Music Festival at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto.
An Albert College runner set a new record in Track and Field for the 400 meter, beating the former record by 1.5 seconds.
Music ensembles from the Junior, Middle and Senior Schools competed at the Quinte Rotary Music Festival. All Albert College ensembles won gold.
Albert College placed first at the District Chess Championships for Grades 4, 5 and 8. In the Open Tournament Albert students won both gold and silver.
Students have the opportunity to participate in exciting adventure trips, which have included a dogsledding expedition in Algonquin Park, a trip to the equator and outreach trips to Africa and South America.

What we do differently
With small class sizes, students receive individualized attention from faculty, which is especially important in the formative years spent at the Junior School level.
English Foundation Year (EFY), a specialized one-year innovative language instruction program is offered to students learning English.
Arts period ensures students have time in their schedule to participate in arts activities (school production, band member) during the day and athletic activities (team practices) after school.
Senior students have the opportunity to travel internationally on the community service trip. Past locations have included Ecuador, Kenya, Ghana and Tanzania.
Alumni & Parents
More than 100 parents and grandparents volunteer each year, enhancing Albert College students’ learning experiences by assisting in classrooms, the library and at special events.
Alumni spoke with Senior School students during Careel Carousel, answering career-oriented questions.
Albert College welcomed 16 alumni guest speakers, including Phil Pallen ’06, a Social Media Strategist; and Heather (Mann) Haigh ’93, a Public Speaking expert, who guided the students in preparation for the school’s public speaking competition.
Neil Smith ’59 spends each Tuesday cataloguing, organizing and preserving the Albert College Archives.

I have attended Albert College for 3 years. Over my time at Albert I developed independence, responsibility and came to understand who I am as a person. I have been able to explore many topics, subjects and interests that I didn’t know I was interested in.
Before coming to Albert College I wasn't doing well in school and my goal was to become a 70% student.
