Discover an Exceptional Boarding Experience

Imagine yourself living at a small, family school with students from Canada and around the world.

You love your comfortable room, and you have great friends and caring teachers at school, in a safe, vibrant city. Now imagine learning alongside motivated peers, delving into all of Albert’s Five A’s - Academics, Arts, Athletics, Active Citizenship and Adventure. You have the opportunity to try a little bit of everything and find your passion.

“The ideal Albert student is someone with an open mind, willing to try new things and take risks in a safe way,” says Rachel Foster, Albert College’s Assistant Head – Senior School. “It’s a student who will make connections with all sorts of different people, and really be part of a community that takes care of one another.”

Important notice for international students:

In 2024, the Government of Canada placed a temporary intake cap on international student permit applications to stabilize new growth for a period of two years. This does not apply to students studying at Albert College as all elementary and secondary schools are not included in the cap. Current studypermit holders are not affected. Study permit renewals are not impacted.

Albert College is home to over 100 boarding students from around the world

I was ready for an adventure, ready for more independence and looking for a new experience. It is really diverse here, and I am living with people who speak so many different languages and share their cultures.

- Skye, Grade 12 Boarding Student

Boarding Life

The Albert College boarding experience includes a close-knit, family-like atmosphere where students from Canada and across the globe grow together in a small school setting. Here students find comfort in cozy rooms, surrounded by friends and supportive teachers and staff, within a safe and lively city.

Each boarding house at Albert College has its own feeling of home, with a house director, assistant director(s) and amenities. Most rooms are private (single occupancy), and include a bed, mattress, desk, chair and clothing storage.
