Albert College Showcased the Best of Broadway

On Friday, February 21, the Albert College Community Winds, Jazz Band and Senior Vocal Class put on an outstanding show featuring music from the Best of Broadway! Tunes from Phantom of the Opera, Annie Get Your Gun, Oliver, Guys and Dolls and more had the crowd singing along and dancing in their seats.

We were fortunate to have Rosemary Woods '17, an Albert College alumna, return to join us on stage once again to sing with the Albert College Community Winds, Jazz Band, and Saxophone Quartet. Rosemary is in her third year of studying vocal performance at Western University in London.

We were also pleased to welcome guest conductor Heather Christiansen to Albert. Heather has recently joined the the percussion section of the Community Winds and comes to the group with a wealth of experience. Before coming to Belleville, she had taught at Crofton House and York House Independent Schools in Vancouver and has experience conducting many youth choirs and orchestras.
