Albert College Panthers recognized for Excellence
Students at Albert College gathered together with families from near and far to celebrate their accomplishments at the 162nd Convocation celebration on Saturday, June 15. Students from Grades 7 to 12 were recognized with top awards for their outstanding accomplishments this year.
Faith Saar of Foxboro and Troy Moxey of Bahamas received top honours in athletics and were named the College’s most outstanding athletes. Grade 10 students Jasper Gilbert of Bloomfield and Sydney Drain of Tweed were named Junior Athletes of the Year. For outstanding long-term contribution to athletics, Alexandria Schneider of Belleville received the Mary Jane Haskett McCullough Award and Aidan Mundle of Napanee received the McIntyre Award. Jan Mak of Hong Kong received the Pisano-Finlay Award recognizing excellent sportsmanship qualities and athletic contribution as well as a subject award in Chemistry. Katrine Guse of Belleville received the “Pete” Beach Athletic ‘A’ Award for conspicuous contribution and leadership in athletics.
