Farewell, but not goodbye

Joined by family, friends, parents, alumni and current and past board members, Albert College Head of School, Mr. Keith Stansfield, was celebrated on Saturday, May 11 at Albert’s Retirement Open House. With over 200 people in attendance, the afternoon was filled with friendly faces, beautiful farewell messages, delicious treats and a portrait reveal of Keith.

Mr. Keith Stansfield has been part of the Albert College family for the last 14 years and will be truly missed by all. The Albert family would like to thank all who attended and for their support.

Memorial Chapel and Ackerman Hall Accessibility Project

Revealed at the Retirement Open House was Keith’s Memorial Chapel and Ackerman Hall Accessibility Project.

Mr. Keith Stansfield has been concerned about the lack of accessibility into the heart and soul of Albert College. To honour his wish, Albert College is embarking on a campaign to make the accessibility project a reality by building a lift to remove barriers for those who are unable to maneuver our stairs.

If you wish to make a gift to the Memorial Chapel and Ackerman Hall Accessibility Project, please email the Director of Advancement, Helen Walsh, at hwalsh@albertcollege.ca.

With your gift, Mr. Keith's Standfield legacy will live at Albert College for years to come and provide full access for Albert College events like the Shewfelt Lectures, the Christmas Carol Service and Remembrance Day ceremonies.
