Orange Shirt Day at Albert College

On September 30, we held our Orange Shirt Day in the spirit of reconciliation to help raise awareness about the impact of residential schools on Indigenous communities. Students from EPLC to Grade 12 and all faculty and staff honoured those by wearing the colour orange. Following a presentation in morning chapel, Senior School and Middle School students gathered in the "boxcar" at Albert to post orange post-it notes with messages, names of residential school survivors and inspiring quotes.
