Prefect Perspective

Coming into my last year at Albert College, and as this year’s Victoria Manor and Health and Wellness Prefect, it is my pleasure to introduce the Prefect Team for the 2025-2026 school year! This year, the Prefect Team consists of nine hardworking and determined members. As a team, we aim to maintain consistency through authenticity and mutual respect and establish a fun and inclusive community at Albert College.

Meet your 2025-2026 Prefect Team!

As the Arts Prefect, Adele has a goal to raise the profiles of all art disciplines, which include vocal and instrumental music, visual arts and drama. In her role as Head Prefect, she ensures that the prefect team stays organized, communicative and sets a good example as leaders for the school community.

Grace, the Climate and Sustainability Prefect, is planning fun activities that promote sustainability and climate action, and raising awareness on the importance of sustainable practices.

As the Academic Prefect, Darren’s role is to assist the student body in their learning through academic support strategies, and in his role as Enrolment Prefect, he helps represent our school as a proud ambassador to students and families interested in joining Albert College. 

Ella, the Adventure Prefect, encourages student participation in opportunities such as the Duke of Edinburgh program and promotes sustainability on trips.

Rya, the Athletics Prefect, strives to create more presence and support by our school community during home games and encourage an atmosphere of excitement on game days.

Clarissa, the Community and Marketing Prefect, makes our Morning Announcements a fun and engaging start to the day with clear and concise announcements, and assists the Marketing and Development office with creative new ideas to tell the Albert College story.

As the Active Citizenship Prefect, Eunice encourages participation in community service, both on and off campus. In her role as the Junior School Prefect, she brings the Senior and Junior School communities together by creating fun activities for everyone.

Simon, the Graham Hall Prefect, strives for make Graham Hall a second home for boarding students through fun and engaging activities.

As this year’s Victoria Manor Prefect, I am proud of the connections I’ve made throughout the years I’ve lived at the Manor. I am looking forward to the activities and cultural celebrations that will occur throughout the year! In my role as Health and Wellness Prefect, I help to encourage healthy habits within the Albert College community through a variety of initiatives that support students’ mental and physical wellbeing.

Overall, the Prefect Team is very positive about what’s to come this academic year. We are a team of dedicated and committed leaders who aim to build a cohesive atmosphere within the Albert College community, while also leading by example.
